Spy shots show updated BMW M4 coupe on the road with subtle changes
The BMW M4 is due for a mid-life facelift, and our spy snappers have caught the revised model out testing in light camouflage.
Changes to the exterior for the updated super-coupe will be minimal, with only some new air intakes for the front bumper and some new lights to give it a fresher look.
Most of the changes won’t be cosmetic, with some new features being brought into the car to keep it up to date. There are no indications yet as to what the updates will be, but we expect to see a refreshed infotainment system and some small changes to the interior design. The car could also get some driver assistance tech such as traffic jam assist.
The bmw M4 will continue to be powered by a turbocharged 3.0-litre straight-six, currently outputting 425bhp and 550Nm of torque. An update could see a power boost, although the Competition Pack already brings the figure up to 444bhp.
The standard M4 goes from 0-62mph in 4.3 seconds and on to a limited top speed of 155mph. It starts from £57,065 in the UK, and we’d expect a facelifted car to cost from around the same when it arrives in 2017.
